Vampire Weekend

I'm addicted to this song lately, it has such an awesome beat!

Decisions

Today I have done absolutely nothing productive, aside from taking these photos, which actually didn't turn out as nice as I had hoped.  I wanted my outfit today to be very ladylike and classy, but still casual.  I was also having a great hair day, so that helped things, too.  So here I am now, still doing nothing besides blogging and snacking on Cocoa Krispies.
Vintage bag, watch, necklace, and shirt, Abercrombie & Fitch skirt, fs/ny flats.

Also, I got this top at Anthropologie today, and I need your help deciding whether or not to keep it!  Here it is:
It looks a lot cuter on me rather than the mannequin.  Anyways, it was $38 (on sale from $68), and it has to hang up to dry, which might not be great for college, but it's super cute!  What do you think I should do, return or keep?

Girl Crush: Deborah Ann Woll

I've never watched a single episode of True Blood, and I probably never will, but after seeing her modeling for this Marc Jacobs feature in the August InStyle magazine, I already like her.  I'm absolutely loving her bright red hair!  I wish I could pull it off; I would totally dye my hair red if my mom wouldn't kill me.  Not to mention Marc Jacob's fall collection is truly fantastic.
This structured dress is to die for.
By the way, I'm so so close to 50 followers!  I remember being close to 25 just a few weeks ago, and you guys helped me get there, so help me get to 50!

Teen Vogue Best Dressed Reader of the Day!

It's funny how I was having a really crappy morning, and then I got on my blog and saw the comments about being the best dressed reader of the day, and it totally made everything better!  Here's my feature!
I'm so excited about this, you have no idea!  If you want to see the real deal, click on the Teen Vogue circle on the sidebar of my blog, or it's right here:

And to my new followers, thanks so much for following!  I'll be sure to keep it interesting :)

Regina Spektor...

...where have you been all my life?
I keep typing and deleting what to say about these songs, because words aren't really good enough.  And I couldn't pick just one, they're all so great.

Blogger Award!

My friends Britt and Makay both gave me this blogger award, so I figured I would post it!
apparently the rules are:
1. Thank the person who gave it to you
2. Post the award and 7 things about yourself
3. Nominate 15 blogs that you love.  Most of the blogs she gave it to are the same I would have given it to, so I'm just going to skip that step.

Anyways, here are seven very random things about myself.

1. When I talk to some people, I come across stuck up because I just feel a mental wall
that blocks me from talking to that person. With other people, I can talk for days. It's
also totally random who I can and can't talk to. It's soooo frustrating and I've never
been able to get past it.  Being shy is not fun at all.
2.  Ever since I was little I've gotten the words "hammock" and "mannequin" mixed up. I
have no idea why.

3.  I've kept a diary since 5th grade. I've been pretty slack on writing lately, but it
is really interesting, and also embarassing, to see how much I have matured and how much I
have learned.

4.  My earliest memory is an extremely vivid image of my grandmother bathing me in the
sink when I was just a little baby. I generally only remember how things looked and
smelled, not how they sounded. I remember exactly how that soap smelled.

5.  I didn't want to take art 1 as a freshman in high school, but now I want to be a fashion designer or
something of that sort because of it. It's also really changed how I see the world.

6. I have an irrational fear of slugs. I CANNOT see one or I start freaking out.  Haha, there's no way I'm posting a picture of that.

7.  I'm terrible at drawing. I love to paint and I'm okay at that, but sketching the
thing is what takes me forever.

I forgot what the sources for some of those were, let me know if you know!

90% Vintage

Be ready for a picture heavy post!  Lindsay came over today and took my pictures.  We also made delicious oatmeal raisin cookies, watched a movie, and played the Sims on my computer.  She ended up killing her character, though, haha.

She's not a photographer, and doesn't normally do anything artsy, but her photos were really really great!  I wish she could take them every day.
This picture makes me look buff, haha.
and here's Lindsay!
Vintage dress, bracelets, watch, and purse, Forever 21 sunglasses, Lucky Brand shoes

Which photos are your favorites?
