New Favorite Blogger!

I found this girl on lookbook and basically loved 90% of her looks, probably because she wears a lot of Free People. Luckily, she has a personal blog, too at Cheyenne meets Chanel. I would definitely wear a bit more toned down version of her look. I've been really into the more bohemian/hippie sort of look lately. I blame my roommate last year; she sort of dressed that way.
Here are just a few of her many great looks:
I'm going to make pants like this!
Really love this bag. Wish I could find one.
Simple but really nice. Really love the shoes.

I like her photos, too. Check out her blog here, and her lookbook page here.

Vintage Backpack

Currently on the hunt for the perfect vintage backpack! Well, sort of. One I can buy when I have some money.

I don't want all leather because it would be heavy (and more expensive). Here's what I've found:

Cute but too small:

I wish the details on this were leather:

Wish this wasn't just one-shoulder:

If they didn't cost so much:

And lastly, the possible ones!

This one's a little dull, but it would go with stuff, and it's a leather and canvas mix.

I totally love this one the most! But it's on ebay so it might get sort of pricey, and the shipping cost is way high.

Really like this one too, but also on ebay, so the price might go up.

Which one is your favorite?

This is going to be a long summer.

I'm bored already! I can't wait to get a job.

I just got these Birkenstock shoes, and they are wonderful. I highly recommend them if you want some comfortable sandals.
Vintage Dooney and Bourke purse, vintage Levi's cutoffs, Juliet's Closet top, Birkenstock shoes.

Long Vintage Skirt

Hello! I was happy to sign on to this blog and see that I still had a few followers left! Definitely less than before, but that's my own fault for not posting anything. School/Brett pretty much took over my life, and now that it's summer, I have some extra time to put into this here blog.

I got this skirt at a vintage store I just discovered. I got another one that I'll show you later, too.
So much fabric on one garment!
Vintage maxi skirt, Frye boots, Pins and Needles white tank, Free People pink tank.

Hopefully I can post some artwork soon so you can see where all my time went!

It's been awhile...

Obviously, I've started school again, hence the lack of posts. Right now I'm taking color theory, composition, and drawing II. I actually feel much less busy than last quarter, but of course, I still have other things to do than blog, and I also don't want to post a bunch of junk! At the moment I'm waiting for my roommate to wake up so I can turn on the lights to work on a still life.

I've been wanting to show you the clothes I got for Christmas, but I'm just now getting to that. I just wore the first top yesterday, and I'm currently wearing that sweater, actually.

My roommate got me the last top and the crochet vest. Speaking of crochet, I officially switched my major to fibers, which means I'll be focusing on fabric rather than designing clothes. Fibers majors also make some clothes like sweaters or knit/crochet. I'm hoping to take my intro class spring quarter.

Iron and Wine is coming to my school theater in April! I bought his new album Kiss Each Other Clean and just listened to it all yesterday.

Lastly, if you'd like to see posts more often, I started using my tumblr a bit more. I also have to do a blog for color theory, which you can find here. It's not very exciting, but it gives you a taste of what I'm doing here at school right now.

A White Christmas?

So I woke up this morning and glanced out my window as usual, only to see this:
I seriously wasn't expecting it.  I really wish I had someone to make a snowman with, though!
I got this jacket with a giant fur hood, it's great.
Hollister jacket and shirt, Levi's jeans, Lucky Brand boots.

Anyways, hope y'all had a great Christmas!
