Big News!!

Teen Vogue just sent me an email telling me that I have been selected as one of their best dressed readers of the day!  I am sooooooo stoked, obviously.  Honestly I can't believe they picked me!  I actually have sent them two entries, so I'm kind of curious as to which one they ended up picking.  I don't even remember what the second one was.  They won't post it until July 9th at midnight, but you can bet I'll be reminding you!

Today I went to the local zoo with my friend Joey and his little 13-year-old brother, Jordan.  The last time I saw Jordan was last year, and he's grown up so much!  He's taller than me now, and he used to only come up to my chin or so.  It's crazy.  Joey's on the left, Jordan's on the right.

Anyways, I have been wanting to show you all a few new things I've gotten recently.  I ended up getting the Lucky Brand shoes from the 70's shoe post, but I haven't worn them out yet.  I really do love them, though.  They're amazingly comfortable.

The book on the left is just a journal with blank pages of handmade paper.  I planned to use it as a sketchbook for fashion drawing, but the pens I like to use bleed all over the place in it.  If you're into fashion, the book on the right is quite interesting, and provides lots of helpful hints.

These floral leggings from Hollister only cost me $3!  They're having an additional 50% off of their redlines. I got a pair of $7 pants the same day. I've also been looking for some black shorts, and these are so perfect from H&M!

I also got this top at H&M, and it's so adorable.

This is me doing a bad job of modeling it.  I seriously can only take outfit photos outside, my whole house has terrible lighting all the time.  I friends always complain about how dark it is.

I'm seeing a friend tomorrow that used to be one of my best friends, but it's been so long since we've talked!  I'm really excited to be able to catch up.  I'll be hanging out with her and Lindsay tomorrow and having a sleepover. :)

So many exciting things are happening lately!
