College!
I have been so busy the past few days! All last week I was cleaning the house and getting last-minute things done before I left for college. My parents and I packed our car completely full of stuff on Friday and drove to Savannah. Seriously, if the car was one square foot smaller, everything wouldn't have fit into it. I wish I had taken a picture of how stuffed it was.
Saturday, I got up at 6 at our hotel and started moving in at 8, and even then it was super hot and humid. I'm still sore from carrying all my stuff. I also met my roommates Jennifer and Danielle, who are both very sweet. It's nice to have roommates that I can actually be friends with. When we first walked in the dorm room it looked like a jail cell, but we've got it all fixed up now.
Here's what it looked like before, with all of our stuff:
Here's what it looked like before, with all of our stuff:
Jen and Danielle hanging a curtain
Here's my corner after! I love my creepy cat pillow, haha.
Danielle made so many cool crafty things. She's so good at it, too.
Our closets
The bathroom
Sink area
The view from outside our door
Everyone rides bikes here!
View from our window. Love it!
And an awkward picture of all of us: Me, Danielle, and Jennifer.
I made it to my first class today, Drawing I, without getting lost. I have another class tonight, so I have plenty of time in between. I really love SCAD so far!

Wow, your place looks amazing, do you miss your home already?,sorry I have to ask I'm in college too, but i still live with my parents and I have a class named: Drawing I (what a coincidence...), what are you studying? Ok, enough with the questions, I wish you all the luck in the world.!
wow that's awesome :) have fun at college!
That's so awesome!
Love your place :)
Everyone is moving and starting school, it's making me antsy for a change.
Good luck with school and have a great time!
So glad to see you are loving college so far! Can't wait to see updates of your work. For me Drawing1 was torture as far as the work goes; but our whole class became really great friends, talking as we worked. Also, don't forget to network in everything you do. Me for example, I babysit and just last week I babysat for my TA from Drawing1. Get to know every person genuinely and you will go places and have a great time!
